Low effort, simple, reusable bathroom changes for seasons. I don’t want a lot of stuff or things to dust so I like to use “big impact” seasonal changes. I change the rug, the soap dispenser, and the towel, plus the picture frame inserts.
Soap dispensers are from @heb and I refill them from a big liquid soap refill also from HEB. This is the only sink in the house that has a plastic soap dispenser. The rest of the sinks have either a glass and metal refillable pump, or a soap bar depending on how we use soap at that sink; however since this is a pedestal sink I’m worried about the soap falling on the floor so I wanted something break-proof.
Rugs and towels are from @target and are 100% cotton. I don’t buy rugs that have no-slip or grip since that’s plastic. I want to be able to safely wash my rugs. The knot rug in green stays in place so I put the other rugs on top of it. I have four colors of towels and rugs I rotate through in the bathroom because between red, light blue, green and then my orange, I can cover most of the holidays and seasons.
This frame here for my Dragon drawings is one of the Target 12×12 picture frames I wrote about in Refillable/Reusable Picture Frames. I have three of these that I change for the holidays and seasons and this one is the half bath downstairs and more kid focused than the others.
The kitchen counter corner shown above now has a frame that I will update for seasons and holidays. I used a placement so the frame doesn’t slide down and then my “holy spirit is present” candle (with rechargeable batteries) along with other seasonal items like berries and pumpkins. I don’t have a fall final setup picture, but the “Pick of the Patch” frame in the third image ended up behind all the fall items where the “winter” frame is now. I switched the corner up before I realized I didn’t have a final fall photo and I wasn’t going to reset it, sorry y’all. FYI, all the 3M shelves finally fell off my walls. They don’t stick to this wall texture very well for more than a year or so so I do not recommend them if you have this texture. Just go ahead and put the screw holes in the wall.
I don’t have a winter/Christmas image to replace the birds and pumpkins yet so I’m showing our Bluey slogan, Gotta Be Done, which is what the birds replaced. This image is also in the kitchen. We’re downstairs and in the kitchen a lot so that is where most of our decorations are located.

Picture Frames & Washi Tape – Washi tape would be a fun seasonal change to make on current frames or things you have. I’m not sure if it can be reused year to year so maybe try a little bit if this idea intrigues you.
