Reuse before Recycle in the hierarchy of the Rs.
Contact Austin Wildlife Rescue to coordinate dropping off your old jeans for hammocks and burrows for the wildlife they are rehabilitating. They tie the legs closed to make safe and fun spaces for racoons.

Large bath towels and pillowcases are also welcome!
If you have textile items, like jeans, towels, and pillowcases, that are too worn out to be used even fore wildlife, you can recycle those cloth items at Goodwill. I recommend separating out those items from donatable/wearable/sellable items and writing “Recycle” or “Scrap” on the bag.
