I had my annual eye exam this morning and I wanted to share this reminder with you all. I got to the point where I decided contact lenses weren’t going to work for me anymore, so I’m glasses all the way now, but it’s important to remember to share that contact lenses can be recycled and it doesn’t matter what brand or type.
I’m very grateful for my work with Envision Eye Center in Mueller to make this program possible.They were very supportive of enacting this recycling program, so I highly encourage you to reach out to your providers and your neighborhood and ask if they’re interested in joining these type of programs or learning about becoming more sustainable.
Reminder not to throw contacts in the toilet or down the sink. It adds more plastic to our water.
