One of my decluttering clients had a lovely silk robe on the back of her bathroom door but on a cheap metal hanger. She asked if she needed to get rid of it. She liked to look at in when she was in the bath. So I told her it was actually bathroom art in that case and we needed to get her a pretty hanger to match it.

It was great. I did want to rewrap the hook, it was yellow and fraying so I went to Austin Creative Reuse with the hanger (held it out really obviously that I brought it in and while they don’t have hangers it’s always good to be obvious) and matched the shade for ~$0.30. I can use the rest of the ribbon on other projects or re-donate it back to Austin Creative Reuse.
The owner was so surprised I actually found a satin hanger. Apparently they are hard to come by now, and that is was free. She was tickled at her official bathroom art upgrade.
