Compost Bags have a new look! BioBag changed is box big time to a simple dark green with a French bread loaf on it, but it’s still in the same spot at HEB on the bag aisle. Reminder that you don’t have to use compost bags in Austin’s curbside compost, but if you do they need to be BPI certified. You can also use paper bags or keep it loose. Freezing helps loose compost stay intact in a block and reduce smells. Tying a knot helps keep the compost bags secure, the carts clean, and bug larva from escaping.
