Salt container = Trash. According to the How2Recycle label on my Morton’s Salt, it goes in the trash. It is coated paper so it’s not recyclable or compostable.
Keep an eye out for the How2Recycle labels on your salt options and try to find one that is recyclable or compostable but still meets your nutritional and/or cooking needs. Good luck!
