Most people have lots of paper bags and other grocery bags right now. Many of us are doing curbside pickup and delivery for daily essentials. You may think you have run out of options to donate and reuse, and are trying not to recycle all of the rest.
One of my neighbor’s recently shared about Welcome Table, Inc. a local group in Austin, that provides assistance to families in east Austin.
Per their website:
Neighbor 2 Neighbor provides food, emergency assistance, and caring community for our low-income neighbors in East Austin. Our loving volunteers package food, diapers, and household items. We distributed over 20,000 pounds of food and over $43,000 of financial assistance in 2019 to over 700 households.
