House clean out for Austin Creative Reuse and Goodwill Central Texas. I did find the keyboard that was lost, and I found a whole bunch of other things. As I’ve mentioned it’s not new stuff. It’s just stuff that I’m seeing with new eyes and ready to move along. A lot of it’s craft and kiddo stuff that my son has aged out of and so there’s that. But yeah, just a lot of odds and ends that are completely reusable and re-homable so that’s why it’s going where it’s going!
Goodwill examples:
- Dog leashes and harnesses
- The last of the furry kids passed on three years ago. I hid them from my husband to process out of sight so he wouldn’t get worked up again, and I hid them so well I forgot about them…
- random cups from church that they won’t use
- textile recycling
- small plastic toys
- aged out toys like a view finder
- shirts I won’t fit in again and my boys won’t wear (let it go…)
Austin Creative Reuse examples:
- pipe cleaners
- brown paper bags for hand puppets
- bead necklaces
- So many come from school, I should have returned them to school to reuse.
- board games our neighbors don’t want
- felt and other fabric
- string
- collections from my porch bin from the neighbors like craft paint
There was more but I didn’t keep a list, sorry, and I can’t remember the rest. It was two containers for Goodwill and three shopping bags for ACR.
