I tried something new recently! I went to Bella Beauty College for a hair trim by one of their cosmetology students. Can’t tell the difference, good! They cleaned up 2 inches of split ends and layers from growing my hair out the last year and a half. It’s nice to not have tangly hair.
If you are finding a lot of hair around your house, it may be time for a trim. Split ends seem to tangle and fall out more I guess. Maybe also check your bloodwork and vitamins, my levels are fine. I noticed a lot less hair in the shower and house after trimming my hair.
f you don’t have a complicated hairstyle or hair, give a student hairdresser or barber a try. I just needed my ends cut off and I chop away at my own bangs. It was $5 for a wash, I figured she could practice and it was nice to get a head massage, and $10 for a haircut. I gave her a $5 tip, so spent $20 vs $120 for a standard haircut in Austin. It may be different where you are but that is what happened to me. She did not blow dry it which was fine since I was going straight home and can do that myself. It would have been $10 to blow dry my hair, which I may have done depending on if I was going to go into a job and what the job was. It is a learning experience so there are questions, pausing, checking by the teacher and here we needed a bit of Spanish to English translation, so be patient. It still took the normal hour I normally expect for a hair experience so I was fine with it. I’m very supportive of being a subject for students. I had several interns in my delivery room and that is the most exposing area of my life I could imagine. Help others if you can.
