My son has been literally counting down the days to today’s Sakurajima update to Palworld! We even made a trek to Bricks & Minifigs in Austin to get pinks and whites so he could make a pink Chillet to match the blue Chillet he made. Now we each have one for the three of us! FYI, both these colors seem rare. The ice blue is from the Lego Minecraft set, The Frozen Peaks, and I have no idea on what uses the pale pinks. I’m just grateful they had enough.
Bricks & Minifigs is a franchise of Lego-based stores where you can buy or sell Legos. They have big bulk tables and bins of loose Legos to go through which is perfect for free builds and finding missing pieces!
They also have built sets you can buy and new boxed sets. Ours is near Lakeline Mall which feels like Round Rock, but is listed as Austin.
Tip: Be careful. We tend to spend on average two hours here. You get in Lego flow. There is a bench and chairs for sorting. Some of the colors are presorted, like the yellow show above, but some are just too rare or not worth the effort to sort I was informed by the staff. Brown was hard to find and gets snapped up quick. I needed to supplement a pirate ship set and I’m still working on getting all the shapes of brown I need.
While I look for missing pieces and colors for our sets we’re trying to consolidate, my son goes through the bins and creates something. He made this flyer while I was looking for the Chillet colors.
You pay by size of container. So a small cup, large cup or for the summer they have a small, medium and large pail.
This would be a great place to take Legos you no longer need or want if you don’t have any kids or school nearby that want them.
They also have Duplos, the medium size Legos for toddlers, as well as plates, the flat squares that can be land, water, etc.
