Waste not, want not. Our school hosted a flower bar for teacher appreciation this week from Trader Joe’s and I offered to take the leftovers home to compost. There was just enough left to make one bouquet for me.
I love the opportunity to compost for school, that I got to save this one bit of bouquet that is in a thrifted vase, and since my entire family is sick, it’s also a nice little bright spot in our life right now.
Kudos to the mama that planned this both working with Trader Joe’s and she got on her local Buy Nothing group and got vases for free for the teachers to choose from while they also made their own bouquet.
