Repairing and Repainting a Broken Stained Lamp
🎨🎨I spent the afternoon painting this tiny lamp’s stained crwam-colores canvas shade to relax.🎨 Since the base is a stem I wanted the top to be a color so it would look more like a flower. 🎨While we now have internet, we still don’t have air conditioning and the fans help but they don’t take care of everything so I needed a mindful and relaxing activity and it is definitely helped. It also inspired my son to get out his paints and paint as well. He was definitely having a hard time with no internet being a reflection of the current state of things here so we definitely need to work on non computer interests. 🎨
♻️ I used my son’s paint from @austincreativereuse, brushes his grandma gave us my niece used to use, and our own pencil graphite to stain the white glue from where the base had been previously repaired. #repair#repaint#DIY#rehome#sustainbility
