🍾🍾Reuse wine corks or bottle lids for floats in your birdbath and a birdbath can be a bowl or plate on some kind of stand, it doesn’t have to be officially a birdbath. Rethink items. 🍾
🛟This way bugs can float and not slip/ drown.
Thinkery, the Austin children’s museum, DOES NOT accept corks anymore as a material donation.
Many Whole Food locations have a cork recycling drop box near their customer service desk or exit. NOTE: I cannot find a legitimate site for Whole Foods mentioning this program or one from their alleged partner ReCORK. I have also not been in a Whole Foods in years so I cannot confirm if any, at least in Austin, still offer this program. Call ahead if you are interested.
