I’m wearing a 4ocean 100% organic cotton hoodie (there is a discount link below). Most sweatshirts are polyester (plastic) or they’re a cotton-poly blend so if you buy a new sweatshirt or a used/thrifted one be aware of that material content. Unfortunately most fundraisers are using cotton poly blends probably because they’re cheaper. Even environmental groups have cotton-poly blends like Mission Blue: the outside is 100% organic cotton but the inside is 80% organic cotton, 20% recycled polyester. Not only is it long and covers my butt but it has a really big front pocket (great for your phone and keys, and it’s just really comfortable.
