Let glass go. Don’t stockpile glass for reuse or collect, especially if you don’t or won’t actually reuse it. If you just keep moving your stash around it’s not helping you but it could help someone else. It makes me sad and frustrated to see “zero waste” or “sustainable” influencers pull out tubs, bins or drawers of glass they obviously aren’t using. Let someone else use it and get away from single use storage items.
Offer pieces to your local Buy Nothing or neighborhood group. Check with your local thrift/secondhand store for what they are accepting. Sometimes stores have so many vases or glass they won’t take it. Keep the glass moving, recycle it to keep it in the stream of use and in use rather than collecting dust in your house or garage.
