I swap out books on my vintage brass napkin holders as the season or holiday comes up. Here we’re going from Halloween to Fall.
I love the idea of using these vintage napkin or letter holders for this. I got the idea years ago from maybe an influencer using an IKEA product? I’m not sure but a lot of Etsy vendors have these and we don’t use paper napkins or have paper letters so it’s a great reuse as we do have books and I like to decorate with books and for the holidays!

We swapped out Halloween: The Spooky Tale of Captain Underpants in The Horrifyingly Haunted Hack-A-Ween and Curious George in Haunted Halloween. Both of these books were from Little Free Libraries in my neighborhood and I grabbed them for our family after we had seen the movies.
I replaced the books with Fall and God Gave Us Thankful Hearts and Giving Thanks, a Native American Good Morning Message, a Reading Rainbow Book. I did order both of these as I wanted them specifically.
This is a great way to decorate in a way that uses vertical space and is easy to clean plus it’s reusing all the items.
