Big School Win: Gift Wrap and Ribbons

As soon as I saw this tub, I wanted it. Not to use it but to rehome it to others who would. I’m helping a client declutter as they downsize to move. This tub was in their garage behind their door. They honestly kept forgetting about it unless we where in the garage looking at what to work on.

After several months of this and not being ready to let go, they finally did! They grabbed a few “Christmas” colored things (red wrapping paper and green string and ribbon) and then let me have it.

Now if I didn’t have my son’s school and if they weren’t the way they are, then I would have given this to Austin Creative Reuse or ask my friend Kimmy at Broken Lives Restored if she wanted it for her kid programs. I gave it to school. They’ve been doing so much lately with crafts and art that I asked Spanish, Art and Makerspace if they could use the items and anything left of the wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon and string I would take to Austin Creative Reuse, and that I needed the tub back for my client because school also loves a good big tub. They took all of it! Yay! I’m so glad they can reuse these items and get so inspired and creative with the things and with the kids.
